If He Stops Texting You, Do This

      When it comes to relationships, one of the most frustrating things is when the guy you're dating suddenly disappears. He doesn't text you, or he promised to call you but never did. And it all drives you crazy because you wonder what exactly went wrong between you. Men actually stop communicating for a number of reasons. Maybe he's attracted to someone else, maybe he's afraid things are getting too serious, or maybe he's still not over his ex. When a guy stops communicating, it usually says more about him than it does about you. If that's the case, do these 6 things as soon as possible.

 

∎ Don't bombard him with messages

 

      When someone isn't answering you, the worst thing you can do is bombard him with messages. This is actually the easiest and fastest way to push a guy away.

 

∎ Follow the 3-Day Rule

      The 3-day rule usually applies after a first date, but it can be used at any time. Just don’t text/call him for 3 days to see if he’ll reach out to you. You can do this when he stops communicating with you to give him time to get back to you. Equal efforts in communication are good for the relationship.

 

∎ If possible, meet in person

 

      It’s best to meet face to face to get a sense of his intentions for you. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to dress in a way that will impress him and catch his attention. Men are visual creatures and sometimes they need a little reminder of how fantastic you are. You’ll know something’s up if he acts strangely or avoids your gaze.

 

∎ Be careful who you complain to

      We know this whole scenario is probably upsetting to you. Just be careful who you complain to. It's definitely not a good idea to share with mutual acquaintances, as they may tell him or make things seem more dramatic. Open up to family members or friends you know you can trust.

 

∎ Don't post about your relationship on social media

 

      This is between you and this guy, it's no one else's business. Avoid posting harsh or dramatic posts that are clearly about him on social media. You may think that this will get his attention, but in reality, you'll just look immature and completely turn him off.

 

∎ Move on

 

      If he continues to not text you, seriously, forget about him and move on. If you ignore him and do your own thing, that's a much better message than sending him a long message explaining how awful he is.
