    After Russia blocked Discord yesterday, Turkey followed suit today. The Turkish authorities decided to block the Diskord messenger on the territory of the country. A statement appeared on the X social network about this.

    The typical minister also stated that there is sufficient evidence that the platform is pushing the action in the legislation. The allegations include the use of the platform to promote the presence of Cambodian weapons, materials for sexual violence against children, and rape on the use of guidelines and the observance of health hazards.

    Discord is a US based free platform that can exchange text, audio and video. The platform has about 150 million users and is especially popular among video game fans. It uses what is also used by many companies' first messaging system, and has become an alternative for people who don't use X or Facebook, for example. In August, Turkey blocked access to the Robloh video game platform, citing content aimed at children.
