Do you have a Big Dream? Or at least Big Dream? Oh, that's
wonderful. The only bad thing is that this dream does not come true for so
long. Sometimes a person gets sad and says to himself: "Well, if my dream
comes true, I would be the happiest in the world!" I try so hard, but my
dream doesn't come true!".
Some people go to great lengths to fulfill their cherished desire.
Others tell themselves that nothing in this life comes true and give up. Both
get upset. Mostly in vain.
A businessman dreamed of a yacht with which to make a trip
around the world. He lived with this dream, made every effort, but still could
not buy a yacht. He even saw in his dream how he abandoned the business that
resisted him and set off on a distant journey in the white boat on the blue
waves.
The businessman felt unhappy. He was uninterested in trading
pipes, but he gritted his teeth and continued to work. One day the coach
suggested something very interesting to him - to rent a yacht and sail for two
weeks at sea. To realize his dream in a "lite" version to motivate
himself even more.
So the man chartered the yacht of his dreams and set sail.
After a week he got terribly bored. It turned out that on the yacht you can't
get your feet wet, the place is small, the sun is beating down on the deck,
everything is swaying, you see the same faces... just bursting with boredom.
Actually, the yacht wasn't that great. And the sea - so monotonous and boring.
Not to mention you don't have a job, you don't know what to do. You can only
fish, watch the sunset and admire. Well, and pretend to be super happy.
It turned out that yachting and sailing were not his thing. And he went ashore with relief and went to work. In fact, his dream was to create a powerful corporation and lead it. To gain authority and political influence, to defeat competitors, to conquer the market. And why had he held on to this yacht for so long, when he didn't need it at all. Better to invest the funds in the business!
One girl wanted to become a psychologist to make people
happy. This was her big dream. With great difficulty, she received a second
education and started working. But after a month she fell into a terrible
depression; people poured out their problems to her, expected a miracle,
complained, told dark things. And nothing in their minds changed, though she
spoke to them correctly as they had taught her.
The work turned out to be hard and exhausting, nothing like
the dream. And the girl's strength was insufficient, talent was completely
lacking.
The dream almost killed her. She had a good heart. But the
problem is that her dream was different. She went back to the bank, continued
working in securities, saved good money and started a cat shelter. She loved
animals and wanted to work with them, save kittens. But she was afraid to admit
to herself that this was her dream. Still, being a psychologist is a nice, big
dream. And the cat shelter is kind of stupid, isn't it?
That's right. You have to try first. Hey, the one in the
display case, in the crystal bowl, chocolate in color, covered with whipped
cream, with cherries... oh, it must be very tasty! How I wish I could try it!
It looks as tempting as in the picture! And the child gives all his savings for
the magical cake from the window.
And suddenly... What a mess! But it's not tasty at all...
no, I don't like it! I saved up my pocket money for half a year to buy it. And
I felt miserable because I can't have it. And now I have to eat it. Or throw it
away. Besides, I have to admit that I was wrong, that I passed…
First you have to taste your dream – tiny, just one piece.
Dreaming of opening a coffee shop? First, work in a cafe for two or three
months. Sometimes even a week is enough if your dream is fraudulent. Want a big
house outside the city? Rent such a house and live there for at least three
months. It may turn out that you are uncomfortable and uncomfortable there, who
knows. It is possible that you secretly dream of something completely
different, but the stereotype imposed on you by your parents or society
prevents you from knowing exactly what you need to be happy.
The Great Dream may turn out to be an illusion, a lie. And
you torture yourself and complain that it didn't come true. Well, thank God it
didn't come true - that's how it turns out sometimes.
Only when we try and understand that the Dream was false can
we realize our true Dream. What makes us truly happy.
Otherwise, we may waste our lives chasing a ghost or regretting
the unfulfilled. Not realizing that happiness was waiting for us around the
corner while we sadly sighed whether by a yacht, a house in the suburbs or by
someone who is not ours. A false dream prevents us from seeing and
understanding our purpose. And the real Dream.
